Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARYThe Oncology Registered Nurse provides care to patients by administering fluids, chemotherapy, medications or blood products through injections, peripheral IV lines or central venous catheters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Radiation Oncology RN is responsible for the daily duties within the Radiation Oncology Clinic.
All care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State, Local Standards, Rules, Regulations and Guidelines to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of care for patients within scope of practice.
Provides education to patients according to their needs.
Transcribes, utilizes and implements protocols and physician orders.
Coordinates healthcare team and delegates appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel.
EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a hospital preferred.
Previous experience with Radiation Oncology preferred.
CREDENTIALS Must have a current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
Must have chemotherapy certification.
Must have current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment with facility.
Must have current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must obtain within one (1) year of hire and maintain credentials throughout employment at facility.
Radiation Therapy Certificate Course must be taken and certification granted within one year of employment.
Re-certification must be taken every 3 years or as written by ONS standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Annual completion of yearly required CEUs.

ESMinimum Guaranteed Hours:
3 Recommended Skills Active Listening Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Communication Confidentiality Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
