Job DescriptionThe Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support for the FCA field office to accomplish the FCA mission and vision and reflect the FCA Core Values in the ongoing work of that office.
MINISTERIAL DUTIESThese responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministryFCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.

Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for appointments/meetings with staff, ministry partners, vendors, etc.
Handles travel arrangements for assigned staff.
Receives and screens telephone calls and emails for area office.
Retrieves, opens, and distributes office mail.
Plans, organizes, and completes assigned work in a timely manner.
Manages development of resources and meets deadlines of assigned projects.
Coordinates donor ministry events, banquets, staff meetings, etc.
Additional DetailsWY FCA Administrative Assistant The Wyoming FCA Administrative Assistant will assist the FCA director in Laramie, WY with administrative tasks, event management, database oversight and maintenance to help free up local staff to be able serve coaches and athletes with the vision and mission of FCA.
Job Duties Processing monthly expense reports for local and state FCA staff members Financial receipting and processing of contributions, funding, and event finances Checking account management Event management:
preparations for and assistance with executing local events and camps-facilities reservations, registration set up and day of the event organization FCA Camp communications with parents, campers, and staffOrganization and coordination of housing for campers and staffPresent for WY FCA camp June 25-June 29, 2024 Prepare communications for mailings, newsletters, and online communications through Constant Contact Database management for FCA constituents Oversee and manage office supplies FCA training to understand the mission, vision, values, and strategies of the ministry Education and Experience Experience with Microsoft platforms - Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Docs/Forms, Teams Creativity to make documents, flyers, newsletters with online platforms such as Canva and Constant Contact Can accurately manage and balance a checking account Familiarity with spreadsheets and data management Good organizational skills Compensation and BenefitsHourly - Typically 15 - 25 hr.
