## Description
JOB SUMMARY This role will play a vital part of the key market area's supply chain process. They will oversee the efficient receipt, preparation, storage and transportation of materials to support the delivery of communications and video services to Charter Communications customers via a physical supply chain that includes less than 30 specific fulfillment locations across the market. The role will drive operational excellence through the management of people, processes and systems.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES _Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
_Manage internal and external communications including conferring with functional KMA leaders to ensure coordination of activities and establishment of priorities
Manage the assets, expenses and budgets associated with the Hub supply chain operation
Manage inventory and distribution
Manage demand fulfillment and operations planning including accurate forecasting of equipment needs using historical trends and marketing projections
Drive continuous process improvement and standardization
Act as liaison with key leaders in the key market area (especially Technical Operations and Workforce Management) to ensure quality of services, understand business dynamics, and fulfill objectives and direction from the Corporate Supply Chain group
Plan and monitor storage, delivery and transportation of material
Organize the staff, including recruiting and staffing changes, and performance management processes
Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met
Provide oversight of planned maintenance of machinery and equipment
Responsible for monthly audit of contractor materials
Ensure the security of company assets
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, cleanliness, organization and storing/placement of equipment
Ensure that stock outs (backorders) and overstock are avoided or kept to a minimum
Manage inventory and costs to ensure that financial parameters are met or exceeded
Drive operational excellence
Direct salvage of damaged or used material
May manage outsourced personnel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge _Ability to read, write, speak and understand English_Supervise Customer Premise Equipment Staging personnel, Transportation Handlers and Material Handlers
Strong forecasting skills
Strong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and make deadlines
Solid financial management skills including monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting, budgeting planning and, above all, a keen commercial sense of business
Strong knowledge of budget preparation, variance analysis and strategic planning
Education, Certification & Licenses Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related
field, or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience Number Of Years Inventory control, supply chain, planning & forecasting experience or 6-8
Distribution Center management experience or equivalent 6-8
Supervisory experience 6-8
